This is the same thing in business. If you don’t know where you’re going, you’re unlikely to reach it, and it’s a very dangerous place out there.

Sales

You need sales. They’re absolutely vital, and they’re the lifeblood of any business. You also need to have a winning team. As you get bigger, you need to rely on other people to run the business for you, rather than just you just handling everything. And that’s also going to help you as you get bigger and bigger.

Systems

As you grow, it’s also very important to have systems in place, because a business needs to run smoothly and you need to know that processes are in place and everything were running seamlessly, so the customer can get a very enjoyable experience. Marketing is very important. Having your brand out there, making sure it looks and feels the right image for you and your company is absolutely imperative. People need to trust you. They need to build a relationship with you, to know that you’re a company that they can do business with.

Cash is King

Another important thing to remember is cash is king. It’s a very old saying, but it’s a very true one. If you don’t have cash, you can get into serious trouble.

Make sure you get paid on time. You can pay your suppliers on time, pay your staff on time. Just keep that flowing and giving you some reserves when you need to invest.

Communication

Engage with your employees. Keep the communication going. If you suddenly get to three or four offices, it’s very easy to lose touch with people.
So just get out there, talk to them, get them infused, get them involved in the business, and you will see that it pays off handsome dividends.
